Community Creed

We believe, first and foremost, everyone is a human being. Everything else is extra. The extra is the good and bad in all of us.

“When we learn to love one another without prejudice and discrimination, then we will know what it means to be human beings”.(Rev. Levon Lion, D.D.)

Human is a subtitle to being. Human is the physical and being is the spiritual. It is the goal of the Church of Cognitive Therapy community to help all of us come in contact with our inner being, upon doing so, we discover our own spirituality.

Discovering our own spirituality gives way to enlightenment. It is amazing how many people think achieving enlightenment is near the end of our human experience. Enlightenment is only the beginning.

Life, through experience and education, has a way of placing chains and shackles upon us. These chains and shackles are often times misguided information. This misguided information is responsible for what is called cognitive distortion.

Cognitive distortion exists because we allow it. We educate ourselves with distorted philosophies passed down from generation to generation. These distorted philosophies are responsible for the chaos that we find in our society today. These distorted philosophies are the reason for the breakdown in the morality and ethics in our society.

The Church of Cognitive Therapy cannot tell people what to believe in. We can give them the correct tools to aid in their personal discovery.  Our hope is to help others come in contact with their own inner being and establish a spiritual connection to the Divine. Finding our inner being may take the peeling off of many layers. We often need the help of visionary cannabis and other entheogenic sacraments to open our minds to receive the Divine. These sacraments need to be taken with great care and reverence.

Chrism, anointing of cannabis fused entheogenic oil, was a high sacrament (fire baptism) to the Gnostic, treated with respect and reverence. Jesus Christ’s followers wrote about these in a collection of ancient text called The Nag Hammadi Library. Jesus himself was indeed the reason for the Gnostic revolution of his day. “He took a stand quite independent of the authorities of his day and did not last very long before they eliminated him.”

Cultures from past to present have used cannabis and other entheogenic sacraments for spiritual purpose. Many cultures claim religious entitlements to cannabis and other entheogenic sacraments. The Church of Cognitive Therapy claims entitlements to cannabis and other entheogenic sacraments for social, cultural, religious, physical, and spiritual growth.

Our community believes that Entheogenic sacraments are a human right given to us by our Creators, "for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof: or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”.(First Amendment)

The Church of Cognitive Therapy is patriotic to the Constitution of the United States. The first draft of the Declaration Independence was written on cannabis paper. Many former Presidents of these United State of America were cannabis farmers.

Awake!!! Awake!!! Oh ye are sleeping spirits!!! The trumpet is blowing!!! Ready yourselves and take back what is yours!!! This is a call to freedom!!! One must free oneself in order to know oneself. Once you know yourself, then you can accomplish great things.

We believe in the right to free religious expression so long as we don’t inflict harm or ill will towards our fellow human beings.

We believe in the unity of all faiths. The Church Of Cognitive Therapy will always strive to be a community church. All forms of religions and spirituality are protected by our Divine Law.

We believe our use of cannabis as an entheogenic sacrament is mandatory and vital in discovering individual spirituality and achieving a connection with the Divine for personal enlightenment.

We believe in the anointing the sick and afflicted with  Holy Oil that was given to Moses during his burning bush experience and was later used by Jesus Christ to anoint his apostles, the sick, and the afflicted. 

“If there is any fixed star in our constitutional constellation, it is that no official, high or petty, can prescribe what shall be orthodox in politics, nationalism, religion or other matters of opinion or force citizens to confess by word or act their faith therein. The Nag Hammadi Library is a collection of ancient text brought to light in the 20th century. It is what is referred to as Gnostic Scriptures. Gnostic (gnosis) means knowing.
